In this class, you will learn the first steps into professional voice over work for commercials, how to tackle a script and put your best foot forward in the audition process, as well as the intricacies of how this business works.

This class will take place on Saturday, March 27th, 2021, from 3PM to 4:30PM (ET) via ZOOM. The event will start off with an introduction by AMCP, followed by the workshop led by Andrés. The workshop will end with a small Q&A on how to start getting yourself out there and reaching out to agencies.

ANDRÉS MONTEJO

Andrés Montejo is a New York based, Costa Rican actor. Stage credits include performances at the The Artery as Roland/Constellations by Nick Payne, The Playroom Theatre as Don John/Much Ado About Nothing, Tato Laviera Theatre as Mr. Invincible/Mr. Invincible Explains it to the World. Mr. Montejo has a vast experience in front of the camera, appearing in several short films and commercials as well as featuring as Ellis Archer in the new film Strawberry Flavored Plastic, now on AMAZON PRIME. Andrés has also dived into the world of voice over where he has participated in campaigns for Chase Bank, Twisted Tea, CISV, Lincoln Tech, PEPSI, and 1800 Tequila. Most recently, Andrés became the new voice worldwide in Spanish for Polo Ralph Lauren’s newest campaign as well as for the new Nissan Kicks 2021. Teaching credits: “Public Speaking Techniques” at Universidad VERITAS, Costa Rica, “On-Camera Scene Study: Summer Conservatory High School Program” at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, “Commercial Voice Over” and “On-Camera Acting” at Pegasus Theatre Company in New Jersey.

Refund Policy

We have a “no refund” policy at AMCP, unless a class is cancelled. If a student cancels due to a situation beyond his/her/their control, we will grant them credit to their account for any other class or event at AMCP as long as cancellation happens at least one week prior to the start of the class. We will take extraordinary situations on a case by case basis, reserving the right to provide either a 50% refund, a full refund or a credit to the account.
