Premiering on August 28th, 2020 and now streaming exclusively on HBO Max and HBO Latino, Seneca tells the story of David Seneca, a frustrated Puerto Rican actor living in New York City as he grapples with his crumbling marriage and the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria.
Seneca stars Armando Riesco (The Chi, National Treasure), Moises Acevedo (Daredevil, The First Purge), Shirley Rumierk (Collateral Beauty, Rise, Manifest), Isiah Whitlock Jr. (The Good Cop, She’s Gotta Have It), Tony Plana (Ugly Betty, Roman J. Israel, Esq., The Punisher). Seneca has won multiple awards on the film festival circuit including the prestigious Ultra Indie Award at the Woodstock Film Festival, Honorable Mention at the HBO NY Latino Film Festival, the Audience Award at the Tucson Film Festival and the Spirit of Tide award at the Tide Film Fest. Seneca is Directed by Jason Chaet and written by both Riesco and Chaet.
